In our showroom and office in Oldenburg in Northern Germany nothing is produced. But everything is planned
and organized from here. And, of course, we always have
at least one bike in each frame size for a short test ride.
We, Vera Isigkeit and Kalle Kalkhoff, work there.
However, we do not have strict opening hours. If you like
to visit us, you are more than welcome - but PLEASE,
PLEASE call us beforehand.
Otherwise it could happen that you are standing in front of a looked door. We only sell two things: the Pedersen and
the (English) bike magazine Velo Vision by Peter Eland.
We also organize exhibitions of historic bicycles under Oldenburger Fahrradmuseum. Since I, Kalle Kalkhoff, am
an amputee, I have searched for many years for a saddle
that was more comfortable and more flexible.
Then I finally found the solution - the hammock saddle.
Since 1985 I only ride Pedersens. In 1993 we were
appointed Pedersen agents for Germany. Two years ago
Jesper Sølling and I decided to throw our talents together
and became partners.
Since 3 years I am using an artifical leg called „C-Leg“
made by the Otto Bock company - and I really love it.
50 times per step information is sent out via sensors to the
comuterized C-leg knee ! What a new quality of life!
Because I am amputated on the left side I ride the
handicapped-crank (Pendel-Pedal) made by the Hase
company. In order to keep the (artifical) foot on the pedal
I use toe clips and (loose) leather straps on my Shimano
Fullfit pedals.
