Pederse Bicycle | The Inventor | The Re-Invention

On the first look this bicycle looks rather weird, or unusual.
Nevertheless there are many Pedersen owners would never
consider cycling on any other bike - mostly for comfort reasons.
In the beginning (1893) there was the saddle, the hammok saddle. Around the saddle the inventor, who gave the bicycle its name,
built a frame, which consists of triangles only. It looks ever so
fragile, yet it is extremely strong.

Even though the Pedersen bicycle has many advantages, it
always stayed in its secret niche. This is mainly due to the
complicated production process of the frame. A difficult to
produce frame means low production numbers; and that means
expensive bicycles. For a long time we thought about ways to
make the bike less expensive. The result of our deliberations will
be shown on the following pages.
