Pederse Bicycle | The Inventor | The Re-Invention

No more Pedersen bikes were produced since 1922.
However, in 1979 the Danish blacksmith Jesper Sølling
saw a picture of the bike and asked for further information
from a British museum. Jesper was one of the „founding
fathers“ of Christiania, formerly a military quarter in
Copenhagen.

He worked in the local smitty (Christiania Smedie) and
together with other „Christianitters“ they produced ovens
and bicycle trailers.

When he got the construction plans for the Pedersen, he
concentrated on the production of this frame. In the
Moment Jesper works at the Christiania Smitty.
